 herbs and essential oils.

Sun dried in the

mid west region of America.

Some of the resins are Frankincense, Myrrh ,  Amber, Copal,

Dragons Blood. And herbs like California white Sage, Cedar,

Patchouli, Sandalwood, Lavander, Jasmine, Rose, and

Their essential oils.

History of Incense : In history,  for thousands of years peoples have used

incense for its noticeable effect on the human mind. Nearly every culture in

recorded history has burned incense for spiritual purposes, and sending their

prayers to the heavens on gossamer tendrils of smoke  and utilizing the

medicinal qualities of precious aromatic substances. Also, incense was

burned to kill germs and bacteria to prevent the spread of disease. Certain

aromas also calm the mind and aid breathing. Which is why incense benefits

meditation. The incense trade, especially the trade of Frankincense and

Myrrh, began during the 1st millennium B.C. in Egypt, Mesopotamia, the

Eastern Mediterranean, and Middle East. Caravans of camels crossed the

desertsof Arabia transporting the precious gums and resins, worth their

weight in gold, as the custom of burning incense in religious rituals

continued to grow in importance.
